Breakfast: Oatmeal (oats and water, no dairy) with cinnamon and apples, plus 2/3 of a banana.
Snack: kind of skipped it due to chores/errands etc. Finished the box of Smarties (a small handful was left) and had a small handful of cheerios.
Lunch: California Sushi rolls! I love those things, but I opted for the ones packed with vegetables instead of the full fish ones I normally get. Also had a plate full of raw vegetables, and some smoothie to drink.
Snack: Smoothie again. It was banana, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, blueberry.
Dinner: Meatless spaghetti - leftovers!
PreBedtime Snack: I'm packing it in tonight because I have to fast afterwards for a blood test later tomorrow. I'm thinking green salad with chicken and beans and not sure what kind of dressing if any - balsamic probably. I'll probably have toast too, because do I get hungry!
Well, looking back on the day it's not the best day but it's certainly the most healthy day I'll have had for the past month! Tomorrow I am hoping to have time to actually meal plan, based on my goals as advertised... I'm sure that will make a huge difference.
The chicken for the salad above is what I purchased today for V's snacks/lunch but she's not really eating it. I had to feed her sandwhich meat instead to get some protein in her!
Funny that we all had oats today. I saw a yummy oatmeal loaf at the store today, maybe I should make some bread...
ALSO: I did NOT hit PlanetOrganic today because hubby was sick all day yesterday (meaning I didn't get as much done as I had wanted) and surprised me today with an early leave to go to a course for work. Not to make excuses, but really to make excuses, I was on my own yesterday and today unplanned and am still cleaning up from the holidays (I kid you not, more than 9 loads of laundry today and possibly more - it's still going on). I really regret letting it all pile up now!
