This year I really want to focus on giving my body what is really needs!! Eating to LIVE!


I recently read a book titled that: "Eat to Live". I definitely recommend the book...it taught me a lot about the importance of eating nutrient-rich, whole foods. While there is a whole 6-week Eat to Live Diet, I won't be following it exactly.


I am going to focus on eating REAL foods every day that are HIGH in nutrients:

  • lots of fruit
  • lots of veggies: all the colors, especially green
  • beans
  • raw nuts
I am going to try to limit my dairy, but not totally get rid of it....I really LOVE cheese and just don't know that I can part with it.

I will eat meat sparingly and am going to aim for organic, free-range meat.

I am going to CUT OUT the sugar (even milk chocolate), except I will make a treat once per week (to start) and enjoy ONE SERVING of that treat. By treat I mean something bad for me, something with a lot of sugar, etc. 

Also, I need to EXERCISE regularly. I will start by exercising 3 times per week and increase as time goes.
