Well,
it started out fine - whole wheat toast with apples sauce, smoothie for snack, vegetables for snack too.
Then my friend came over and we had an impromptu pizza party which involved pizza, a little bit of gingerale (but mostly water) and some leftover almond roca from Christmas. Do you notice a chocolate trend here?
And that's where I'm at right now. I'm not feeling too hot so for snack I'm having water.
Dinner: meatless spaghetti again, with a salad and some fruit, and possibly cheese for protein.
Prebedtime snack: maybe some popcorn in evoo with a little salt, and finish off the fruit salad which I'm sure will be leftover.

Meal Planning
For this week and next week I'm taking it easy as I am STILL organizing my home and new year schedule. And we're all still sick. Little Z decided to vomit all evening last day and wanted to be held a lot! Poor little dude.
So here is my simple meal plan:
Breakfast: either of 2 - oatmeal,flax,fruit,cinnamon OR toast,fruit/smoothie with flax
Snack: nuts, veggies or fruit
Lunch: some fruit depending on the earlier snack, and a veggie dish .....veggiepasta with garlic&evoo , or a vegetable soup with rice/couscous/quinoa
Snack: crackers and cheese OR yogurt and cereal (I'm thinking granola or allbran)
Dinner: beans or fish, grain, vegetables - particularly greens and orange veggies - and a fat of some sort such as avocado, mayo, evoo or butter. There may or may not be cheese involved.
Snack: a "treat" such as popcorn per above, or a healthy homemade goodie, or cereal and milk because for some reason I LOVE cereal and milk at nighttime. And yes I do think it's funny I have milk in the plan after my little rant below - I need to wean myself off of it slowly because it does taste delicious.
There. Should hold up for a few weeks!
