Okay so today did NOT go well. But it could have been worse....
I of course didn't prepare for the day, and spent most of the day running around doing errands with little time to prepare meals. And as could be predicted the junk food came out!
Breakfast: Cheerios and milk.
Snack: on the run with V, and then Z, I had a glass of lemonade, smarties and a 1/2 cup of cheerios (I stole the Cheerios from Z, sorry Z! Mommy's hungry!).
Lunch: Remembered I had a YUMMY soup in the freezer and had time to thaw it/eat it.
the soup consisted of water&spices, brussel sprouts, mushrooms, onions, garlic, mixed beans, wild rice (or maybe brown). I will post the recipe later. I had a banana too.
Snack: Smarties, again. What??!!! I have a box left in the pantry okay !!???! And once it's gone I promise I won't buy any more...
Dinner to come: we'll do a meatless spaghetti sauce on Smart pasta if I have it, and for my pre-bedtime snack I'll have .... well let's be honest I'll probably have Smarties but I will also have peanut butter toast with water.
So I'm off to a poor start, but at least I'm thinking about it!
Tomorrow: groceries!!! And then I will have a better kickstart to my new year.... right?

You did good! It definitely makes a difference being prepared...I'm not totally either, but I'm getting there! We can do this!
