It's oh so easy.
Take cashews (RAW, not roasted) and put them in your blender. Just barely cover with water, and blend! A good amount for a family meal is usually around 1/2 cup cashews or even up to 1 cup depending on how much sauce you like to eat with meals.
For thinner sauce use more water.
Then just add spices at will. It's basicaly a white sauce without the milk and flour so it's great! tastes a little bit slightly nuttier, but also way creamier.
I usually add minced garlic, pepper and lemon juice. You can find awesome combinations on the internet by just googling "cashew cream."
